general formalities.
‣ we want to take it back old school, but the basic rules haven't changed! please be friendly ooc, do not cross the ic/ooc line, and be active on the friends page.
‣ your journal should be ic with no underscores, numbers, or unnecessary words. you must have a spam post, ooc contact post, and they must be back dated
‣ this is a place to bring your old characters back to life, characters you never got out off the ground, or even new character concepts you've been wanting to try but the right setting hasn't popped up. we want the old school drama back on the friends page.
‣ your character's location should remain in the us and its territories. don't be afraid to place your character in oregon, if a majority of characters are placed elsewhere. this is a social media game!
‣ until the game is established, the current character limit is two, please make sure that you're active with both of them.
‣ as for pbs, the pb irl needs to be 18 and the 5 year rule will be enforced. pbs must have some sort of notoriety.
                                                activity.
‣ intros must be done within 48 of acceptance or you will be removed with the next set of adds, unless you contact us! we get it, you have a life, and so do we, but please let us know if you need extra time.
‣ interaction is a huge part of why games stay open for as long as they do. we are asking that if you come in with a group of friends from a previous community, please do not use this place as gpsl. interact with one another, post lyrics, random, or interactive posts as much as you want. we really love seeing people on the fp twice. don't just hang out in your customs!
‣ community wide activities: we will be hosting community wide activities several times a month, that are not limited to group threads (we know you miss those!) and events. how is this going to be realistic? the founders of socialists will be footing the bill for all travel and accommodations for your character(s). there will be interactive sign ups and playlists for your listening pleasure. we are also open to hearing your ideas as well!
‣character made communities, if your character has a business, you want to make a community exclusive to a city (ie: miami or austin) go for it, friendship comms, are fine too. we're not policing those either. but please do not make anyone feel excluded!
‣ updates are due on the last sunday of the month, and extensions will be granted upon request. updates can be anything your heart desires, but please do not rely on single instagram or twitter posts. we want to see your effort, but more importantly, we want to see your creativity!
